“Spark” Opening Theme: TRACK OF THE MONTH / february 2026*
This month…Music Orange conceived and composed the opening theme for “Spark”, the arts-focused KQED television show, and called upon the avant-garde Kronos Quartet to perform it. Both the performance and the recording’s fidelity evoke a timeless quality, reminiscent of classical music drifting from a warm vacuum-tube radio. The sweeping melodies lilt and flutter with the effortless grace of a leaf on a river.
